There are a lot of distractions that may distract your journey when trying to lose weight, and sweets are on the top of the list. Here are three recipes for the very delicious energy balls that will energize you while having their own health benefit to include healthy fats, high fiber, and help to limit your sweet craving. Mix all below ingredients of each flavor and enjoy:
Almond Joy Energy Bites
1 cup dates
1 cup chopped almonds
2 tbsp. 100% cocoa powder
2 tbsp. unsweetened shredded coconut
pinch sea salt
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Bites
1 cup dates
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp. 100% cocoa powder
3 tbsp. chopped peanuts
Coconut Energy Bites
1/2 cup dates
3 tbsp. chopped cashews
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tbsp. melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt
After mixing all ingredients, shape them the size you want, and cover them with melted dark chocolate and enjoy.
