BANANA OATS CAKE


Baked oats are a clutch breakfast for a lot of reasons. Oats are affordable and a staple ingredient in many pantries. Second, they’re a good source of both fiber and protein, which will ensure that you’re energized enough for your busy day. And baking your oats is a great way to change up the flavor and texture of your standard bowl of oatmeal.


Ingredients

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 ripe banana

1 egg

1 Tbsp nut butter

1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup hemp seeds (optional)

Pinch salt

Cooking spray


Methods:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a ramekin or oven-safe pan with cooking spray.

2. In a blender combine all the ingredients until smooth and well-blended, about one minute.

3. Transfer the batter into the prepared ramekin.

4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden, if you put a toothpick in the center and it comes out clean it should be fully baked. Allow it to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before serving and Enjoy.
